This workshop will address the use of OER in Cybersecurity and IT disciplines. The workshop presenters will: a) discuss how the fast pace of technology would benefit from OERs; b) demonstrate how to use course objectives to drive modules, not chapters; c) provide ideas on creating cybersecurity-related assignments using OER resources; and d) examine the use of open source software and other cyber-specific tools to help educators create unique and innovative hands-on experiences in both virtual and physical environments.
